Special training Centre is running in the school under the aegis of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. A special teacher is engaged to give training to the students who due to some reason lost the opportunity to attend regular school. These students are given training according to their age and mental ability. Students of 6 – 14 years of age groups are enrolled in this centre. Efforts are being done to mainstream these children so that they sit and study in the regular school. They are provided all the facilities like MDM, Books etc. These students are given ample opportunities to participate in all the co-curricular activities that are organized in the school. Skill development classes are also organized in every session in which the children are taught to create different products.
Examination & Evaluation System
Classes I – V: CCE system of evaluation is followed in classes I – V, to assess the learning of the pupil. They are assessed in Scholastic and Co-scholastic areas. The academic year is divided into two terms. Each term ends with an evaluation.
Classes VI – X: CCE refers to a system of school based evaluation of students that covers all aspects of development. The evaluation is thus a curricular initiative, attempting to shift emphasis from testing to holistic learning. It aims at creating good citizens possessing sound health, appropriate skills and desirable qualities besides academic excellence. This will equip the learners to meet challenges of life with confidence and success. The student be tested for scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Promotion will be granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of the student in the CCE.
Scholastic Areas include: Formative and Summative Assessment.
The academic session for classes VI – X is divided into two terms.
Each term will have two formative and one summative assessment.
Assessment will be indicated in grades.
The grading scale for the scholastic areas is a nine point grading scale.
Co-scholastic activities include:
· Life skills (Thinking Skills, Social Skills and Emotional Skills)
· Attitudes (towards teachers, schoolmates, school programmes and environment)
· Values
· Literary and creative skills
· Scientific Skill
· Aesthetic Skills
· Performing Art

The above shall be evaluated and graded on a five point grading scale.

Promotion Criteria for CLASS XI
The students will be evaluated on the basis of Formative tests and the two Terminal Examinations. The evaluation is continuous. The class XI assessment weightage is as follows:

Academic year The academic year commences in April and concludes in March. The annual examination for classes IV to IX is held in the month of March/ April. Public examination for class X and XII which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, is also held in March. The school has classes from IV to XII and prepares students for All India Secondary School Examinations and the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE, Delhi. The Medical Room and the services it provides are an important part of your child’s life at school, especially in the event of illness or injury.
The goal of health services personnel is to assure that children maintain the best possible health in order to benefit from and enjoy their school experiences. The Health Room is available to administer first aid for illness or injury sustained at school.
In this age of Information Technology, an early exposure to basics of computer readies every child for the future and also helps the child to overcome any inhibitions they could have towards computer usage. Our school has one computer lab contains with latest models of 20 computers where students learn.
Computers are in almost every household today and are a part of every child’s educational journey. For this reason, learning about the computer, word processing and presentation programs, and Internet research and information consumption should begin in the primary grades.
